Austin Rettig, of Sikeston, MO, has been racing dirt tracks in Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Texas for only a few short years but has proven he has what it takes to win.
In only his first full season of racing stock cars, at the age of 11 Rettig won nine feature events against drivers who are two and three times his age. By the time he was 15, Rettig turned his attention to Super Late Models, traveling with the Comp Cam MSRA Series.
Racing is a family event for the Rettigs. Austin’s dad, Allan, has been involved with racing for 30 years. His brother, Nathan, raced Late Models and his mother, Karen, gives Austin her full support.
Austin is currently running the ARCA Series and is dedicated to making racing his career. "Nascar is where I want to be."
